General Information

The Saskatoon Skat Club was founded in 1969. Since then the club is playing on a weekly base.

The first club champion 1969 was Hermann Schnackenberg.

In 1988 the Skat Club Saskatoon joint ISPA Canada.

Saskatoon players started to play in national tournaments in 1989 and international tournaments in 1990.

The first Saskatchewan Skat tournament was played 1990 in Saskatoon. Since then we are hosting this tournament every year on the last weekend in May.

A team of four players from the Saskatoon Skat Club were Canadian Champions 1990.

The club is playing Skat every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. one round of Skat at the German Cultural Centre at160 Cartwright Street East / Lorne Avenue.
